Rules & Regulations

Dog Days of Denton welcomes FRIENDLY DOGS and their owners. All owners are responsible and liable for their pet(s). For everyone’s safety, dogs MUST BE ON A LEASH and have CURRENT VACCINATIONS.


Dog Days of Denton Event

  • Dogs must be ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES.
  • Dogs must have CURRENT VACCINATIONS.
  • Attend event at your own risk.
  • Owners are legally responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) at all times.
  • Dog waste must be cleaned up IMMEDIATELY and disposed of properly by the dog’s owner.
  • Dog handlers must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times
  • Aggressive dogs must be removed immediately.

Prohibited:

  • Glass containers
  • Dogs in heat
  • Sick dogs
  • Puppies under 4 months of age
  • Aggressive dogs

Vendors & Sponsors

Booth Hours: All booths are required to be open on October 7, 2017 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Vehicles must be removed from exhibit area one hour prior to opening.

Booth Size: 10X10

Exhibit Hours: Saturday, October 7, 2017 — 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Set-Up: Exhibitors will be responsible for all booths structures, set-up and furnishings; e.g. extension cords, signage, drapes, etc. generators. Use only 20 amp/120 volt electricity. Electrical booths will need fire extinguishers. Vendors and booth participants can begin set-up at noon on Friday, September 26th. No early admittance. ALL VEHICLES must be out of the exhibit area one hour prior to start of the event. Booths must be open by 9:00 am and shall remain open until the event closes. No booths will be allowed to close early.

Tear-Down: Participants are responsible for dismantling their booths and cleaning booth space before leaving.

Facilities: Limited electricity is available. Electricity must be requested at the time of registration.

All fees are non-refundable: Inclement weather will not
be grounds for refunds.

Security: Police and Animal Control will be onsite during the event. Participants are responsible for the security of their goods. Vendors setting up on Friday are asked not to leave product in booth overnight. Fair-grounds gates will be locked overnight but Dog Days of Denton and event organizers accept no responsibility for stolen or damaged property, accidents or injury.

Booth placement: will be at the sole discretion of Dog Days.

Liability: No participant will be allowed to set up without a signed and dated application and release of liability. Dog Days of Denton reserves the right to revoke or refuse to grant space at any time, without recourse by the participant. Dog Days shall not be liable to anyone for this action. Vendors with dogs in their booth must also submit proof of liability insurance.

Religious/Political Information: No booth space will be granted to those wishing to express religious, moral or political opinions. Display of information of that nature will result in expulsion from the event without recourse or refund.

Music: No “boom” boxes or recorded music is allowed in booth areas.

Exclusive Rights: No exclusive rights for the sales of any item will be granted to vendors.

Alcohol: No alcohol (including beer & wine) may be served.

Photos: Dog Days of Denton has exclusive rights to take and sell photographs during the event. No other personal pet photos memorabilia vendors will be allowed.

Roaming and Selling: No roaming vendors will be allowed, unless otherwise approved. Sales and activities are limited to assigned booth space only.

Giveaways: Exhibitors are asked to limit giveaways or at least associate them with a game or activity for participants. This is in deference to our vendors selling pet related items.
